Review: Clean & Clear essentials foaming facial wash

I have been always a fan of C&C. From their moisturizers to toners to face-washes, I have tried them all. Lets start with the review, shall we?

What C&C essentials foaming face wash claims:

  • OIL FREE - WON'T CLOG PORES
  • helps prevent pimples, oily shine and blackheads

What I think:

It comes in a plastic bottle. I got the 50ml as it would last for months and plus I think the scent will diffuse into air if I bought a larger one (as when opened again and again, the product loses its quality and scent and doesn't work the same way). Three years ago, it used to be my favorite. But then I found another C&C daily exfoliating face wash and later on DOVE's exfoliating face wash. Recently, my skin has been drying out a bit and using exfoliating face wash daily can be a bit harsh on skin. So, I thought to try C&C essentials foaming face wash again. And holy macaroni, I didn't know I missed it so much. It's so freaking gentle on the skin (as no micro-beads), lathers up nicely and scent is amazingly subtle.

I have also used the C&C's other face washes that contain beads and have fruity scents. But tbh, they are not that good. And that's the reason I quit using this after trying beads ones.

I use C&C essentials foaming facial wash once or twice a day now. It does control oil and cleans face. Doesn't irritate or dry out my skin but still I do moisturize afterwards.

Price & where to buy:
  • There's no price tag on it and I lost the receipt so I will update the price asap.
  • I got it from a nearby SB Departmental Store. Though, it's readily available everywhere.

You might not like it:
  • If  you prefer micro-beads in face wash
